On May 3rd, 2010 in the early morning hours, Officer Brian Huff, a Detroit Police Officer was gunned down and killed. Officer Huff is the first police officer shot and killed in the line of duty in the last five years. Officer Huff had been a police officer for 12 years and had a 10 year old son. Our prayers our with his son and family.

In the same incident, 4 other officers were wounded.
